These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Primitive Tattoo Bali’s services, website, and facilities located at JL. Plawa No.8 D8, Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia.
By booking an appointment or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS
• You must be at least 18 years old to receive tattoo services
• Valid government-issued photo ID is required
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide proper identification
• Parents/guardians cannot consent for minors to receive tattoos
2. HEALTH AND SAFETY
You acknowledge and agree that:
• Tattooing involves inherent risks including but not limited to infection, allergic reactions, scarring, and dissatisfaction with results
• You must disclose any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or health concerns that may affect the tattoo process
• We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe tattooing poses a health risk
• You are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Pregnant or nursing women should consult their doctor before getting tattooed
3. BOOKING AND APPOINTMENTS
• Appointments can be made via WhatsApp, email, or in person
• Walk-ins are accepted based on availability
• Large pieces require advance booking and consultation
• We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances
4. DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
• Deposits are required for appointments over 2 hours or custom designs
• Deposits are typically 30% of the estimated total cost
• Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled with 48 hours notice
• Deposits are applied to your final payment
• We accept cash (IDR, USD, AUD, EUR, GBP), cards, and bank transfers
• Prices are quoted in IDR; other currencies subject to daily exchange rates
• Full payment is due upon completion of service
5. CANCELLATION POLICY
• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for deposit refund
• No-shows forfeit their deposit
• Repeated cancellations may result in requiring full prepayment
• We reserve the right to cancel appointments at our discretion
6. DESIGN AND ARTWORK
• Custom designs are created specifically for you and remain your property
• Design changes after approval may incur additional charges
• We retain the right to photograph completed tattoos for portfolio use (with your permission)
• We will not copy another artist’s custom work exactly
• Minor variations from design to final tattoo are normal and expected
7. SERVICE REFUSAL
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who:
• Is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
• Is aggressive, disrespectful, or threatening
• Has unrealistic expectations or requests inappropriate designs
• Cannot sit still or follow safety instructions
• Requests tattoos we deem offensive, hateful, or illegal
8. AFTERCARE AND HEALING
• We provide aftercare instructions that must be followed
• Failure to follow aftercare instructions voids any touch-up guarantees
• Healing time varies by individual (typically 2-4 weeks)
• We offer free touch-ups within 6 months for tattoos that need it due to normal healing (not neglect)
• Touch-ups for sun damage, picking, or improper care are charged
9. LIABILITY AND WARRANTIES
• We are not liable for reactions to tattoo ink or aftercare products
• We are not responsible for spelling errors in text you approve
• We are not liable for dissatisfaction with approved designs
• We maintain liability insurance as required by Indonesian law
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services
10. REFUNDS
• No refunds are provided for completed tattoos
• Dissatisfaction with artistic style is not grounds for refund
• We will work with you to address legitimate concerns about technical execution
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
• Our studio name, logo, and website content are our property
• You may not use our photos without permission
• You grant us permission to use photos of your tattoo for marketing (unless you opt-out)
12. HYGIENE STANDARDS
We maintain strict hygiene standards including:
• Single-use needles opened in front of you
• Medical-grade disinfectants
• Compliance with Indonesian health regulations
• Regular health department inspections
13. PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE
• We match verified written quotes from registered Bali tattoo studios
• Solo artists and home-based tattooers excluded
• Studio must maintain professional hygiene standards
• We reserve the right to verify quotes directly
14. PACKAGE DEALS
• Bali Collection packages subject to minimum size requirements (5cm)
• Package discounts cannot be combined with price match guarantee
• Group bookings require deposits from all participants
15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
• Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication
• Unresolved disputes subject to mediation in Bali, Indonesia
• These Terms are governed by Indonesian law
16. PRIVACY
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy available at https://primitivetattoobali.com/privacy-policy
17. MODIFICATIONS
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Primitive Tattoo Bali regarding our services.

CONSENT AND RELEASE
By signing our consent form at the studio, you additionally:
• Confirm all information provided is accurate
• Acknowledge the risks involved in tattooing
• Release Primitive Tattoo Bali from liability except for gross negligence
• Consent to the tattoo procedure
• Confirm you are not pregnant or nursing (or have consulted your doctor)
• Agree to follow all aftercare instructions
